We do not warrant that any tool will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that results will meet a specific standard, legal requirement or certification. Verify important output
PDFelly processes files locally in your browser. While we test our tools carefully, you are responsible for checking that the output is correct before relying on it. This is especially important for:
- Archival conversion (PDF/A). Our converter builds to the ISO 19005-1 specification and runs a built-in self-check, but no in-browser tool can certify compliance. For regulated use, validate the file with a dedicated PDF/A validation tool before relying on it.
- Redaction. Always confirm that removed content cannot be recovered before sharing a redacted document.
- Encryption and passwords. Keep your own backup; we cannot recover a password you have lost.
